In 1998, the brutal murder of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man, caught the attention of the world. The Tectonic Theater Project went to Laramie Wyoming—where the murder took place—and interviewed the townspeople and authorities, culminating in this brilliantly moving and powerful play.
